HENRY, Phyllis Jean - Age 86, of Rankin, died Friday, April 29, 2022. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton (A live stream of the service will be available on Phyllis obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Mr. David Beckwith officiating. Burial in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 4-8 PM and Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Heartland Hospice. Phyllis was born March 7, 1936 in Cadillac, the daughter of Gordon H. and Alice E. (Nelson) Nelson. She was a 1954 graduate of Fenton High School. She married Charles W. Henry October 23, 1954 in Rankin and he preceded her in death February 7, 2002. She had resided in the Fenton area most of her life. Phyllis was a member of the Red Hat Society. Surviving are: her children, Thomas W. Henry and Susan (Steven) Liley both of Rankin; former daughter-in-law, Annette (David) Beckwith of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Shaun Henry of Swartz Creek, Shannon (Adam) Scott of Petersburg, Lauren Liley of Rankin, and Katlyn (Brian) Greenup of Roswell, GA; several great grandchildren; sister, Louise Jansen of Linden; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Alice Nelson; daughter-in-law, Lynn Henry; and brother, Lawrence R. Nelson. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
