OGUREK, Warner L. – Of Davison, age 75, died Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at his residence.
Private funeral service will be held at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
Visitation 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2021 at the funeral home.
Warner was born in Schoenau, Czechoslovakia on October 9, 1945, the son of Johann and Maria (Schleifer) Ogurek.
He loved race cars, the Detroit Lions, shopping and bird watching. Most of all he was a family man and loved his grandchildren.
Mr. Ogurek was employed by GM for 35 years and was a member of UAW Local #659.
Surviving are his wife, Christine;
daughters, Barb Raby, Carol (Carl) McCulloch and Diana (Ron) Potter;
grandchildren, Courtney (Nick), Cassy, Cody, Brittany, Brendan and Sieana;
great-grandchildren, Brody and Arianna;
sister, Karen Ramey;
sisters-in-law, Susan (John) Meaguard, Patricia Taylor, Lisa Osmon and Vicki Phegley;
many nieces and nephews.
