SCHOLL, ARCHIE - Of Beaverton, formerly of Swartz Creek, age 74, died Friday, April 7, 2023 at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to Vietnam Veterans of America.
Visitation 1 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Archie was born in Antrim County, Michigan on September 7, 1948, the son of the late Robert and Dorothy L. (Grody) Scholl.
On September 30, 1995 he married Cindy Sather in Flint.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed fields and tractors. Most of all he loved family and family gatherings. He enjoyed feeding the family feasts.
Surviving are wife, Cindy;
daughter, Nicole (Mark) Downing and Tracy (Charles) Hubbard;
grandchildren, Nicholas Walton, Tyler Hubbard and Andrew Downing;
great-grandchildren, Darlynn, Gorjyss, Nicholas II, Addisyn and Allyanah Walton;
siblings, Roberta Johnson, Julie Gassman, Bob (Nancy) Scholl, Bruce Pendock and best friend, Tom Tekiele.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy (Harry) Richards; father, Robert (Denise) Scholl Sr. and son, Archie Scholl.
