Stella Victoria Gradowski was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.She left this world on November 24, 2021 at the age of a young 100.
Stella was born in 1921 in McKees Rock, Pennsylvania to John and Helen Pyrc and was one of 10 children. After her family moved to Michigan, she met and fell in love with William (Jack) Gradowski and had 3 children - John, Richard and Laura.
Her life revolved around family. She would support the many activities that her children were involved with to include band concerts, football games, plays, and many, many other activities. Whatever they did, she was there. She once stated that camping for 2 weeks every summer was one of her favorite memories. It was a lot of work, but she loved it.
As her family grew, Stella relished her role as Grandma to Scott, Jason, Katie, Joe, Emily, Robert and Will. Then, Great Grandchildren came along - Tanner, Sydney, Jackson, Sawyer, Mack and Maggie added to the tribe. Her love was reflected by the pictures she placed around her and the pride she shared.
Finally, Stella's faith was her anchor. She believed in angels and saints and prayed for each of us in our need. She believed she would meet us all again.Please join us on June 18th<x-apple-data-detectors://1> to celebrate a life well lived as we gather together in Montrose Michigan. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you take your family to dinner or someplace special and spend that time enjoying your family. Stella would have loved that.
