Billy Richard Williams, age 90, of Burton, Michigan passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025. Richard was born on August 13, 1934 in Long Lane, Missouri, to the late Troy and Gladys (Blackwell) Williams. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was also a longtime member at New Haven Baptist Church in Burton, Michigan. After thirty dedicated years, he retired from General Motors. He was an avid woodworker and a country music lover. Richard had a great sense of humor and was an amazing storyteller. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Richard leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Wanda; son, Dale (Glenice) Williams and daughter, Sheila (Steve) Harrington; brothers, Paul Williams and Everett Williams; grandchildren: Kyrie (David) Tester, Mackenzie Williams, Ryan Williams, Christopher Holland, Miranda (Brandon) Buskard; great grandchildren: Elliana Tester, Maddyn Tester, Joslyn Addis, Autumn Buskard, Asher Addis; and numerous nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth C. Williams; brothers: Earl Williams and Ralph Williams; sister, Dorothy Thomas Stratton; and his parents. A funeral service for Richard will occur Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 1:00 PM, at Brown Funeral Home-1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan with visitation one hour prior. He will be laid to rest at Crestwood Cemetery in Grand Blanc, Michigan. |
