FOSTER, Edith Maxine- age 92, of Flint Township, passed away April 22, 2021. Funeral Services will be held 1 PM Monday, April 26 at Swartz Creek Church of Christ, 4410 Seymour Rd., Swartz Creek with officiant Paul Holland. Interment will follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service at the church from 11 AM - 1 PM. Edith was born June 13, 1928, the daughter of Lewis George Strickland and Mary (Bradberry) Strickland. Edith married William "Ed" Foster in Flint on December 22, 1944. He preceded her in death on December 1, 1987. Edith was a member of Swartz Creek Church of Christ. She loved to go out to eat, but she was also an excellent cook and baker. Most of all, she loved her family.
Edith is survived by her daughter, Sharon Toby of Flint Township; grandchildren, Shiloh (Brandon) Watts, Kimberly (Scott) Dorenbecker, William J. (Timmery) Foster, Heather Toby, and Nathan Toby; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; daughter, Victoria Foster; sons, William J. "Jack" Foster and Danny Foster; two grandchildren, James Toby and Elden Toby. Tributes may be made at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
