BLACKBURN, Gregory Scott - age 63, of Linden, died April 12, 2022. Funeral service will be held 2 PM Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430 with Elders JC Hagar, Dave Hagar, and Dave Jacobs officiating. Visitation will be 11 AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the National Kidney Foundation. Gregory was born February 3, 1959 in Flint. He was a truck driver, carpenter and laborer for many years. Greg loved cars, classic cars, race cars and Nascar. Surviving are: wife, Cheryl; three children, Jeffery Blackburn, Sara (Jamie) Hetchler, and Charles "CJ" Blackburn; adopted daughter, Kori Reynolds; grandchildren, Tyler, Jordan, Zachary and Sophia; mother, Phyllis Hill; siblings, Dawn (Ian) Clark, Melissa (Jim) VanHove, Kurt (Kerri) Hill, Michael (Kathryn) Hill, Steve Hill and Kathy (Tilden) Bevins; many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by: daughter, Charlotte Blackburn Matthews; father, Charles Blackburn; step-mother, Ruth Blackburn; step-father, Jim Hill; grandson, Kayn Hetchler; and step-siblings, Janice and Oscar.
