ARRAND, Jack D. Sr. – Of Mundy Township, age 78, died Thursday, August 10, 2023 at home with his loving family present.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Monday, August 14, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Dan Blankenship officiating.
Burial in Perry McFarlen Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Crossroads Temple Church of God.
Visitation 2pm-8pm Sunday and 12noon Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Jack was born in Flint, Michigan on September 7, 1944, the son of the late Harold and Pearl (Anable) Arrand. On May 17, 1997, he married Linda Holcomb at Deliverance Tabernacle in Flint. Jack retired from Chevrolet Motor Division. He liked to travel and enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and also enjoyed riding motorcycles and working on cars. Jack was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved playing with is grandchildren.
Surviving are wife, Linda;
sons, Jack D. Jr. and Scott;
daughter, Jennifer (Timothy) Stanton;
grandchildren, Ashley, Brittney, Zander, Jack, Miranda, Angel, Austin, Keaton, Anna, Michael, Sarah and Patrick;
many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren;
sister, Patricia Mossman;
and nieces and nephews, Vincent (Raquel), Marci (Mike).
He was preceded in death by his siblings Donald, Janet and many nieces and nephews.
