Peterfi, John Ryan - Age 65, of Flint, died April 12, 2022. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10 AM Saturday, April 23 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church 1227 E. Bristol Rd. Burton. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. A Vigil service will be held at 7 PM Friday at the funeral home. Visitation will also be at the church 9-10 AM Saturday April 23. John was born April 5, 1957 in Flint, the son of David and Florence Peterfi. He was a graduate of Flint Central High School. He also attended Mott Community College and University of Michigan. John worked for Consumers Energy in Bay City. He enjoyed taking trips to Munising, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved tending his garden, sharing his seed collection, and cooking meals for everyone. John is survived by his wife, Donna; 3 children, Ashley (Ken) Miller, John D. Peterfi (Celia Freeman), Carissa Pfeiffer; grandchildren, Daniel Oprish, Audrey Oprish, Salem Miller; siblings, David (Sheryl) Peterfi, Bob (Karen) Peterfi, Gus Peterfi, Mark Peterfi, Ginny (Larry) Sebert; sister-in-law, Linda Newman.
