LAMB, David Lloyd, Sr. "Sid" - Age 85, of The Villages, FL formerly of Fenton, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Services will be held 12:00 PM Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed via David's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Fr. David Harvey officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Wounded Warriors Project.
Dave was born August 10, 1940 in Flint, the son of Orville and Elsie (Fisher) Lamb. He was a 1958 graduate of Gaines High School. He married Barbara Joanne Lyons December 16, 1961 in Gaines. He had resided in The Village, Fl for the past 6 years coming from Fenton. Dave owned and operated Dave Lamb Heating and Cooling for many years. He was very active and a past President of the Fenton Little League Program. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and most of all spending time with his family.
Surviving are: his wife of 63 years, Barbara; sons, David (Cindy) Lamb, Daniel (Trina) Lamb and Dennis (Tonya) Lamb; grandchildren, D.J. (Alicia), Jamie, Alison, Logan (James), Dana, Kendra, Grant, Gunner and Garrett; many great grandchildren; sister, Joanne Waack; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Lamb; sisters, Cheryl Hall and Mona Fitzgerald. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
