WALDROP, Paul Franklin Jr. – of Mt. Morris, age 68, died Friday, October 28, 2022 at his residence. A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Crossroads Village, Mill St. Warehouse in Flint, Michigan. Pastor Sarah LaRose officiating. The family will receive visitors from 3:00 PM until the time of service. Memorial contributions can be made to the family for future designation.
Paul was born December 10, 1953 in Asheville, North Carolina to the late Paul and Mavis (Lee) Waldrop. He grew up in Asheville, North Carolina before moving to Michigan. Paul attended Holly High School. He worked as a Manager for Sullivan’s Catering with over 20 years of service. Paul was an avid sports fan and loved the Detroit Tigers, the Lion’s and MSU. He enjoyed playing softball, attending high school football and basketball, and going to concerts. Paul loved traveling to North Carolina and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving are: Children, Danielle Schlosser, Amy Waldrop, Tiffany (Tim) Sorensen, Paul Waldrop III, Kristin “Mousie” Waldrop; Grandchildren, Blaik, Abagail, Adalynn, Brooke’lynn, Case, Skylei, Aubree, Niko, Maddox, Carter, Genevieve, Brynlei, Kynlee, Ayla; Siblings, Steve Waldrop, Lester Waldrop, Debra (Rick) Sherrill; Cousin, Michael (Patti) Cassida; several nieces and nephews.
