WALKER, Linda (Brockway) - Age 77, of Swartz Creek, passed away June 9, 2022. Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday, June 13, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Burial will follow in Bristol Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-7 PM Sunday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Linda was born March 24, 1945 in Flint, the daughter of Cecil and Electa (Livingston) Brockway. She was a lifelong resident of Swartz Creek. She was a graduate of Swartz Creek High School and Baker College and retired from Genesee County. She is survived by her daughters, Angela (Brad) Morey and Amy (Andrew) Wykes; their father, Gerald Walker; son-in-law, Brian Granger; grandchildren, Eric (Stephanie), Rachael, Adam, Paul, Nicholas (Charr), William and Harrison; great-granddaughter, Jenna; brother, Lyle (Charlotte) Brockway. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Leon Brockway; sister, Delores Fricke; daughter, Anita (Walker) Granger; dog, Toots; grandson, Gavin and her longtime companion, John Dear.
