RUMBOLD, Don Kenneth, 82, of Fenton passed away December 19, 2020. Funeral Services will be 11 AM, Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Interment will be 1PM Tuesday December 29, 2020 at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Visitation at the funeral home will be 2PM-8PM Monday.
Don was born August 13, 1938 in Richland Center, WI, the son of Kenneth Wesley and Florence May Elizabeth (Starrett) Rumbold. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He married Daree J. Darby on May 9, 1970 in Flint. He attended GMI. Don retired from General Motors as a Die Maker following 43 years of service. Don attended Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Brighton. He enjoyed restoring antique cars, especially his Model A’s and '55 T Bird.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Daree; children, Shelley (Rich) Cruz, and Mark (Christine) Rumbold; grandchildren, Jacob and Brendan Cruz, Angila (Ben) Mosley, Andrew (Hope) Histed, Daniel Histed and Jamie Rumbold; great grandchildren, Benjamin, Lucas, Zachary, and Annalise; sister, Katherine Furqueron; several nieces and nephews.
Don was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother, Dan K. Rumbold.
