ASA (MILEY), Evelyn – Of Grand Blanc, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 3, 2022, with her loved ones by her side.
A celebration of Evelyn’s life will be announced at a later date.
Evelyn Maxine Miley was born on June 26, 1929, in Flint, Michigan to Reverend Floyd and Thelma Miley.
At the age of 18, Evelyn married her best friend and love of her life, Morris Lee Asa. Morris and Evelyn were married for 65 amazing years, with Morris preceding her in death in 2014.
Surviving are her children, Judy (Mike) Haynes and Linda Asa.
Evelyn’s pride and joy were her grandchildren, Jeff (Vanessa) Haynes, Tiffany (Dale) Likar and Becky (Steffan) Vanfredenberg.
“Meme’s” greatest blessings were her great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Brooke, Makenzie, Morgan and David; and her fur grandbabies.
Sister, Rachel (Bud) Evans; many nieces and nephews, who were loved dearly.
Evelyn was a devoted Christian, living her life serving the Lord. Through the years, Evelyn loved to garden, cook, travel, sing and most of all love on her family. So many memories were shared with family gatherings, vacations and just day to day life with each other.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Asa; parents, Reverend Floyd and Thelma Miley; siblings, Clarence (Barb) Miley, Buck Miley, Dorothy (Doyle) Welch, Carolyn (Ron) Malin.
