HALL, Karen – of Columbiaville, age 76, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 4 PM Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Robert Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 PM until the time of the service on Saturday, November 5, 2022. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Association, in Karen’s memory.
Karen was born in Flint, MI on June 13, 1946, daughter of the late Cecil and Mildred (Martin) Burgess. She married James Hall on December 6, 1980. Karen graduated from Southwestern High School, class of 1964. She retired as an inspector from General Motors Lear Seating Operations in Rochester Hills, MI on January 1, 2007. Karen had a love for crafting, she became known as “Kraftykaye”. Shopping and visiting the casino were other hobbies of hers. Karen liked to stay in touch and meet with her friends and family for lunch. She made it a point to make a birthday cake for her co-workers to celebrate their day. Karen enjoyed travelling with her husband, family and friends, preferring the warmer weather of Florida and the Caribbean.
Karen is survived by her loving husband, James; 3 daughters, Shawn (Jimmy) Szelag, Lisa (Mike) Hammonds and Andrea (Brian) Freeland; 13 grandchildren, Jimmy Jr., Justin, Jacob, Raleigh, Dylon, Ravyn, Emma, Kady, Garret, Mya, Lucas, Liam and Shyann; 4 great grandchildren, Brynlee, Raelynn, Hadleigh and Jaxon; sisters-in-law, Jackie (Bruce) Worden and Sherry McIntyre; lifelong friends, Gladys (Jerry) Huff and Linda (Wayne) Fisher; and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Ryan Hall; siblings, Richard (Betty) McIntyre, Beverly Zudell, Ron McIntyre and Don McIntyre.
