Richard Lee Johnson, age 83, of Flushing, passed away on Friday November 3, 2023. Private arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.
Richard was born on February 12, 1940 in Flint the son of the late Stanley and Geraldine (Lott) Johnson. He attended Flint Community Schools and continued his education at the Flint Junior College. Richard and Diane Harvey were united in marriage on October 1, 1960. He worked for GM Parts in Swartz Creek for 31 years before his retirement. Richard was a faithful member of the North Baptist Church in Flint.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Diane Johnson; and children, Lori and Rick Johnson. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his sister, Carole Kister. Tribute may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
