Stacy L. Lawson age 76 of Morrice, passed away at his home on Sunday, October 29, 2023. A funeral will be 11:00 AM on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Durand Chapel. Pastor Nick Boeke will be officiating. Family will receive friends on Sunday from 4-8 PM and one hour prior to the service.
Stacy Lee Lawson was born November 25, 1946 in Camp Warren, KY, a son of Henry and Elsie (Cox) Lawson. On January 20, 1969 he married the love of his life, Barbara Bryant. Stacy enjoyed going hunting, fishing, shooting, working in the garden, horses, music, most of all, spending time with his family and doing things with his grandchildren. Prior to his retirement in 1999 he had worked as a Truck Driver for Spartan Stores for over 30 years.
Stacy is survived by his wife, Barbara Lawson; children, Henry (Sherry) Lawson, Jacob (Tracy) Lawson, Jeremy (Emily) Lawson and Ellen (Matt) Glass; grandchildren, Anna, Wyatt, Riley, Levi, Maggy, Shelby, Emma, Jenna, Coby, Mattie, Raelyn and Baileigh; great granddaughter, Melody; many very special nieces, nephews extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Elsie; brother, Stanley; and great grandson, Braxton Lee.
