CHARRON, John Arthur – of Lapeer, MI, age 62, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM Saturday, February 13, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 North Dayton Street, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Leroy White and Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski concelebrating. A Rosary will be prayed 5:30 PM Friday, February 12, 2021 followed by a Memorial Service conducted under the auspices of the Davison Knights of Columbus Bishop Albers Council 4090 and the Ardon F. Dubie Fourth Degree Assembly 0523. The family will receive visitors 6:30-8 PM February 12, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Karmanos Cancer Institute at McLaren Lapeer Region, in John’s memory.
John was born in Flint, MI on October 15, 1958, son of Don and Theresa (White) Charron. He married Renee Charron on May 3, 1980. John retired from owning a business doing Home Inspections after 20 plus years of service. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. John was also a Third and Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus and a member of Davison’s Bishop Albers Council 4090 and the Ardon F. Dubie Fourth Degree Assembly 0523. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, dancing and spending time with his grandchildren. John looked forward to family gatherings, being by the water and making people smile as an active member in our community. His positive outlook on life will forever be instilled in everyone he met.
John is survived by his wife, Renee Charron; 2 children, Dan Charron and Chelsea (Brent) Korzecki; 2 grandchildren, Macie and Karston Korzecki; his parents, Don and Theresa Charron; many other loving family members and friends.
