Timmie Lee Duncan, 52, of Toledo, born March 3, 1958 to Johnnie B and Amelia Duncan. He attended Nathan Hale and graduated from Macomber Vocational Technical H. S. in 1976. His employment included Zimmerman Landscape, Seat and Top, Toledo Truck Tube/Riker, Jeep, Speedway, private expediting, and Corporate Transit of America. Timmie taught welding at Jefferson Center and Waite. He coached football and wrestling at Woodward and Macomber. He served others as an Old Newsboy’s Life Member, a Master Mason in Lotus Lodge #625, 32 degree Scottish Rites, Zenobia Shrine Temple and many more. He was active in VICA and numerous churches.
Timmie is survived by wife of 33 yrs. Sharon (Lovell); children: Johnnie and Alexis; brother, Kelvin; sisters, Wanda Vickers, Alice (Gerald) Osburn, Christine Celestino and Denise (Jerry) Ruelle; many nieces, nephews and greats. He was preceded in death by parents Johnnie and Amelia; brother, Ronald; mother-in-law, Susy Lovell; nephew, Ryan Lovell and great niece, Serenity Brown.
Visitation will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, November 4, 2010, 2-8 p.m. with funeral services on Friday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to his wife.
