COMBEST, Robert E., Sr. – Of Flint, age 82, died Monday, January 18, 2016 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Dr. Max B. Hayden officiating.
Entombment at Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 1-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Robert was born in Flint, Michigan on September 21, 1933, the son of Horace and Cora (Aaron) Combest and was a resident of Flint most of his life.
On January 10, 1953 Bob married Donna J. Anderson and she preceded him in death on June 7, 2009.
He was a Manager at Hamady Brothers for over 40 years.
Surviving are three children, Robert Combest Jr.,
Suzanne Mackey and Vicki Chadwell;
grandchildren, Melanie Warnke and husband Scott and
Cynthia Hutchinson;
great-grandson, Dalton Scott Warnke.
