HARP, Carolyn Anne – of Farwell formerly of Davison, age 71, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 2 PM Monday, December 30, 2019 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison, MI; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Cremation will follow the mass. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Carolyn was born in Long Beach, CA on August 14, 1948, daughter of the late Donald and Marguerite (Green) O’Brien. She married Larry Harp on June 2, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Carolyn was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Clare, MI and St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Davison, MI. She was a Catholic Charismatic Prayer group member. Carolyn loved the outdoors, travelling and her horses. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Larry Harp; children, Joseph (Yessenia) Palid, Jr., Chris Palid, Nicole (Jeff) Ciesla, Michelle (Steve) McCracken; step-children, Matt (Renee) Harp, Morgan Harp; grandchildren, Merik Whipple, Jenna Ciesla, Brett Ciesla, Trenton Ciesla, Brandon Palid, Giovanni Palid, Kealey Humphrey, Lauren Hennagir, Ayden McCracken, Ryan McCracken, Gavin Harp, Cassandra Palid, Chris Palid, Jr.; great-grandson, Merik Whipple, Jr.; nieces and nephews, Jessica (Jeff) Whitney, Jenny O’Brien, Shawn Carson, Bridget Carson. She was preceded in death by brother, John O’Brien and sister, Maureen Carson.
