PARKS, Erma E. – Of Lansing, age 91, died Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Private burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Reverend Josh McLaren officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to South Mundy Methodist Church.
Erma was born in Durand, Michigan on February 20, 1929, the daughter of the late Walter S. and Edna I. (Holland) Mitchell.
On July 2, 1976 she married Frederick Parks at South Mundy Methodist Church.
She was a member of University UMC in East Lansing, attended South Mundy Methodist Church, Oldsmobile Girls Club, Travel Club and Ski Club.
She enjoyed visiting and traveling and loved friends and family.
Surviving are step-children, Mike (Mary) Parks,
Turk (Cari Keck) Parks and Scott (Jeanne) Parks;
grandchildren, Paula Parks, Jason Parks, Shelby Bierwagen and Brienna Nordman;
9 great-grandchildren;
sister-in-law, Barbara Mitchell;
nieces and nephews, Cindy (Larry) McMurphy, Lloyd Jr. (Mary) Mitchell, Leonard Mitchell, Loren (Jill) Mitchell and Lisa Mitchell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick, in 2012 and brother, Lloyd, in 2018.
