CARDINAL, Patricia - Of Grand Blanc, age 75, died Friday, February 7, 2020 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30am Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at St. Mark Catholic Church-Goodrich, 7296 Gale Road, Grand Blanc,
Father Peter Lawrence officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
Contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral costs.
Visitation 1-8pm Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Vigil service will be held 7pm Monday evening at the funeral home. Visitation 9:30am Tuesday at church until the time of the service.
Patricia was born in Flint on August 5, 1944, the daughter of the late Francis and Esther (Polzin) Swarbrick. On November 5, 1965, she married Charles Cardinal, Jr. Patricia was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Surviving are husband, Charles Jr.;
Children, Donna and Jeff Tilley, Judy and Robert Handa, David and Amy Cardinal, Michael Cardinal and fiancee, Nikki Elftmann;
16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren;
Siblings, John and Carmen Swarbrick, Delores and Charlie Zimmerman, Linda Swarbrick, Dorothy and Bob Gamble, Rosemary Beck and Rita Torrey;
Sister-in-law, Beverly Huyck;
And several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Donald Swarbrick and Joseph Swarbrick, brothers-in-law, Larry Cardinal Sr. and Edward Huyck, Sr. and father and mother-in-law, Charles Sr. and Leah Cardinal.
