Allan Cooper Obituary
Allan Richard Cooper, 69, passed away December 11, 2023, at home in Gold Canyon, Arizona. He was
born on April 16, 1954, in Flint, Michigan to Aline Bridgforth Cooper and Carel Cooper.
In 1991, Allan married the love of his life, Colleen Shaheen, and became a stepfather to her son
Kenneth. He worked for General Motors for 33 years, retiring in 2006. Following retirement, they moved
to Cheboygan, Michigan where he loved to hunt, fish and boat.
Allan enjoyed life after retirement travelling around with Colleen, living for the moment. Allan was
blessed with many loving friends and family members, all of whom will miss him dearly.
Allan is survived by his wife Colleen Cooper; his stepson and family Kenneth Spencer (Tara, Noah, Adelyn and Logan); his sisters-in-law Patricia Lou Cooper, Patricia Lee Cooper and Carole Cooper; his nieces and nephews Lori Cooper DeVos, Robert Cooper, Rhonda Cooper Nicholson, Renee Cooper, Dana Cooper
Hayes and their families.
Allan was preceded in death by his parents Carel and Aline Cooper; his brothers Robert Cooper, C. Dean
Cooper and Kenneth Cooper.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Foutch’s Banquet Room, 1477 S. Linden Rd, Flint, Michigan 48532 on January 11, 2024, from 2:00pm-5:00pm. |
