IRELAND, Rusty Alan – of Grand Blanc, MI, age 66, passed away on August 8, 2023. A Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Friday, August 18, 2023, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Pastor David Weir officiating. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service.
Rusty was born in Flint, MI on July 21, 1957, son of the late Wallace and Nellie (Smith) Ireland. He graduated from Davison High School in 1975. Rusty worked for the railroad and was as iron worker for Richfield Iron Works. He retired from General Motors and Saturn after many years of service. Rusty was an NRA member and enjoyed being a gun enthusiast. Above all, Rusty loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Rusty is survived by his son, Nicholas (Nicole) Ireland; grandchildren, Ian, Wesley, and Cade; sisters, Lucille Powell and Mary Sue (Steve) Lesko; many nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Anthony; sister, Wanda Duncan.
