THOMAS, Martha Rose – Of Flint, age 71, died Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Visitation 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Martha was born in Grand Blanc, Michigan on June 3, 1950, the daughter of the late Arthur and Aletha (Staley) Fisher.
On August 17, 1974 she married Leroy Thomas.
Surviving are husband, Leroy;
4 children, Matt, Eugene (Crystal), Jonathan (Angela) and Robert;
several grandchildren and great-grandchildren;
3 brothers, Richard (Patricia) Fisher, Chuck (Sharon) Fisher and Robert (Cheryl) Fisher;
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas; daughter, Dawn Waldrop; granddaughter, Ayanna; brother, Bill and nephew, Scott
