KRITLOW, Dorothy "Dot" A. - age 96, of Flint, passed away, Saturday, August 26, 2023. Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Catholic Charities of Genesee County. Dorothy was born May 21, 1927 in Flint, the daughter of Arthur and Ellen (Otway) Madden. She graduated from St. Michael's High School in Flint. Dot married Richard W. Kritlow on September 8, 1951 and he preceded her in death on November 19, 2022. She worked at Fisher Body before starting a family and at Durant-Tuuri-Mott Elementary School as a classroom aide. Dot was the best mother ever, even to the neighbor kids and friends. Surviving are: daughters, Deborah Wentz, Nancy (Rick) Butler, Susan (Mark) Kritlow-Miller, Janet Kritlow and Kathy Haney; son-in-law, Greg Howard; and 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard W. Kritlow; son, Richard Mark Kritlow; daughter, Patricia Howard; grandson, Jackson Kritlow.
