Todd James “Double D” Crannie, 59, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Hurley Hospital in Flint, Michigan, surrounded by his family and friends. A Celebration of his Life will be held at the Barons MC Clubhouse, 101 Genesee St in Gaines, on September 14, 2023, at 4 pm.
Todd was born May 20, 1964, in Flint, MI to James Gordon and Barbara Ann (Oliver) Crannie. He graduated from Flint Northern and has worked at GM for over 20 years.
He was a member of Barons MC for 10 years and enjoyed riding alongside his club brothers. Todd hunted for over 40 years with his brother-in-law and best friend, Dean Henry. He also loved to fish, play pool, and was a loyal hard worker. Todd enjoyed spending time at home with his family while trying out different rib seasoning combos. He was a devoted husband, father, Grampy, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Todd is survived by his wife, Lisa Crannie (Lewis); his daughter, Susan (Zakkery) Wells; his granddaughter, Marnie Wells; and his siblings, Gordon Crannie, Rick Crannie, and Lori Henry. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Vicky and Sherry Crannie.
