Larry Joseph Blondin, of Chesaning, died Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Memorial Healthcare in Owosso, MI.
Larry was born on April 11, 1947 in Flint, to Wallace Blondin and Gloria (Manderson) Blondin.
He attended Northern High School in Flint were he recieved his GED. He proudly served 3.5 years in the United States Navy. Prior to his retirement, Larry worked 36.5 years at General Motors. On April 16, 1965, Larry married the love of his life, Sharon Currier, and together they celebrated 58 years of marriage. In his spare time, Larry enjoyed flying planes, hunting, fishing, going to his place at Otsego Lake.
Larry is forever loved by his wife, Sharon Blondin; children, Cheryl Milsteen (Mark Sandoval), Wendy Draves (Douglas), Shawn Blondin (Kristy Krupp), Jennifer (Randal) Griffin; 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Michael (Sharolyn) Blondin, Stephen (Carrie) Blondin, and Alan (Sophie) Blondin. He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Blondin; grandparents, Adolphus and Eva Blondin, and great-grandaughter, Jaelynn Domingo - Pablo.
Memorial Contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. |
