Patricia Ann (Schmidt) Drozdrowski, age 90, of Flushing, Michigan passed away peacefully on Wednesday,
January 10, 2024.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Beatrice and Henry Schmidt; her dear husband of 46 years,
Mitchell; brother-in-law, Louis Wejrowski; sister-in-law, Isabelle Wejrowski; and nephew, Gregory
Wejrowski.
Pat was born in Detroit, Michigan and then her family moved to Lindwood, Michigan. Pat was married
to the love of her life, Mitchell, on December 24, 1959. She said she picked that date so that Mitchell
would always remember their anniversary. They moved to Flushing to start their married life.
Pat was employed by Flushing Township for 27 years and proudly represented her township at the
Michigan Township Association. After her retirement, she served on the Flushing Township Nature Park
Board. She had many friends throughout Flushing Township and other townships as well.
Pat loved to have fun and enjoyed meeting new people wherever she was. She loved to travel and her
favorite place was anywhere in the Upper Peninsula. She was an avid reader and loved watching old
movies and television shows. She could tell you who all the actors were, especially the character actors.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Christopher (Sharon) Kopka and Michael (Kellee)
Drozdrowski; granddaughter, Madison (Andrew) Shannon; greatgrandchildren, Travis Shannon and Gage
Shannon; nephews, Steve (Judy) Wejrowski and Kevin Wejrowski; and niece, Ann (Rick) Vega.
The family would like to thank Vibrant Life of Durand and Amara Hospice for their wonderful care and
compassion. Per her request, Pat has been cremated. A gathering of friends and family will take place
at a later date. |
