SELKE, Gerald C. “Jerry” – Formerly of Grand Blanc, age 89, died Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Brookdale of Grand Blanc.
A private Funeral Mass will be celebrated 2021 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton.

Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Brookdale Senior Living.
Visitation 2:30pm-8:00pm Sunday, March 14, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Sunday evening at the funeral home.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
Jerry was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 28, 1931, the son of the late Walter and Elizabeth (Kline) Selke. On May 3, 1952, he married Ann Gera in Detroit, Michigan. Jerry served in the United States Army at Fort Riley in Kansas during the Korean War. Jerry was President of Flint Osteopathic Hospital. He was granted a lifetime fellowship in the College of Osteopathic Healthcare Executives. Jerry taught healthcare administration at U of M Flint and Baker College and was on the planning committee for Genesys Hospital. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and St. Patrick Catholic Church in Brighton. He was also a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. Jerry enjoyed golf, and was a member of Flint and Davison Country Clubs.
Surviving are daughter, Debbie (Gary) Delamielleure;
Grandchildren, Robin, Megan (Josh), Cari (Adam), Jerry and Sarah Ann;
Great-grandchildren, Jaydon, Joshua, Tanner, Troy, Adi, Anna, Aimsley, Abigail, and Cassidy;
And niece, Kathy Ortiz.
He was preceded in death by wife, Ann in 2010 and son, Jerry in 1995.
