Weaver, Thomas “Tom” – of Flushing, age 72, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 25, 2023, with family by his side. Funeral services will be held at 2PM Saturday, July 1, 2023, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Nelson to officiate. Cremation to follow. The family will receive visitors on Saturday from 12PM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for future designations.
Tom was born August 18, 1950, in Flint, Michigan, to the late George and Ila (Holbeck) Weaver. He married his best friend and love of his life, Mary Gay Huffman on July 9th, 1968. They had two daughters: Natalie and Jeni. Tom loved fantasy football, golf, the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tiger baseball. He loved gambling and more than anything he enjoyed spending time with his family. Tom was an amazing husband, dad, grandpa, and great grandpa who will be dearly missed by many.
Surviving are: Wife of 55 years, Mary Gay; Daughter, Jeni (Jeff) Snellenberger; Bonus daughter, Patti(Jerry) Reed; 17 grandchildren: Jeniffer (Willie) Marti, Amanda (Andrew) Janik, Chelsea (Tommy) Byrd, Riley (Justin) Grice, Travis Duff, Tanner (Riley Tupper) Williston, Tommy (Marisa Lamb) Williston, Jena (Keyon Tiggs) Williston, and Jaden (Alex Rodgers) Snellenberger; He was blessed with 17 great grandchildren; Siblings: Yvonne Muma, Annette (BJ) Eudy, Rick (Theresa) Osborne, Dawn Weaver, Peggy (Jim) Dunn, Rick (Judy) Huffman, Sue (Rod) Lawrence, and Mike Hufffman; Several nieces, nephews and cousins, and his special friend Jerry Landis. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Natalie Desbois; In Laws, Richard (Mary) Huffman; Brothers: Gary and Mike Weaver; Lifelong friend, Bill Bacon. The family wishes to send a heartfelt thank you to McLaren Home Health for the loving care Tom received. A special thank you to McLaren Hospice Nurses, Michelle, and Michelle.
