TYRRELL, Deborah Sue (Strevel) – of Flushing, MI, age 71, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Friday, April 1, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Richfield Union Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 11 AM-1 PM Friday, April 1, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
Debbie was born in Port Huron, MI on December 9, 1950, daughter of the late Charles and Betty (Howard) Strevel. She was a hospice volunteer and a home healthcare worker for many years. Debbie was very creative in everything she did. She loved painting, carpentry and doing yard work. Working on her home was a labor of love. In her spare time, she loved to travel.
Debbie is survived by her son, Lonnie James Hill of Columbiaville, MI; fiancé, Robert Hagerman of Flushing, MI; 3 siblings, Judy (Jeff) Hoops of Swartz Creek, MI, Beverly (Jim) Stewart of Clio, MI and Chuck (Robin) Strevel of Meridan, TX; sister-in-law, Chris Strevel of Flat Rock, MI; many nieces, nephews, other loving family members and good friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Tyrrell; brother, Mike Strevel.
