Burgess, Dr. Ralph William- Age 67, of Flushing, died November 4, 2022. Visitation will be held 12-8 PM Wednesday November 9 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday November 10 at Our Lady of Lebanon Catholic Church, 4133 Calkins Rd., Flint. Those desiring may make contributions to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan.
Ralph was born August 31, 1955 in Flint the son of Ralph and Helen (Faris) Burgess. He was a graduate of Carman High School, U of M Flint, and the U of M Dental School in 1981. He married Theresa "Tess" Kruger on June 10, 1978 at Our Lady of Lebanon Catholic Church. Dr. Burgess practiced Dentistry in the same location less than a mile from his childhood home for 41 years. He was a cook, gardener, hunter, and music man. He was an avid U of M fan. Surviving are: wife of 44 years, Tess; daughter Stacy Burgess; grandchildren, Braden Burgess, Spencer Burgess Main, Emma Riley; mother Helen Burgess; siblings, George (Jackie) Burgess, Pat (Jamie) Burgess, Lori Burgess; nieces and nephews, Rocky, Jessica, Pat, Sarah, Nick S, Nick K, and Carly; life long friends, Dr. Mike and Lorraine Pierce. He was preceded in death by his father. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Linda Hartman for the loving care she provided.
