Clark, Michael Leroy- Age 75, of Flint, died May 4, 2022. Services will be held Monday, May 23 at 1:00 PM at Judson Baptist Church, 4471 East Atherton Road, Burton, MI. with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place on Tuesday, May 24 at 1:30 PM in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc.
Michael was born June 17, 1946 in Fenton, Michigan, the son of Donald and Betty (Glaspie) Clark. He married Judith Smith on August 23, 1996. Michael served in the US Army from 1964-1967, 1968-1969, 1970-1972, 1979-1988. He served in El Salvador as a pilot. He became a flight instructor for the El Paso Police Department. He served in Saudi Arabia as a flight instructor. He served in the Republic of Yemen as a flight instructor. He was employed as a pilot for Lifenet of Michigan (air ambulance). He became Program Director for Air Methods. Upon retiring he served as a Deacon at Judson Baptist Church. Surviving are: wife, Judi; children, Sarah (Robert) Powers, Michelle (Russ) Cole, Michael Clark (Bonnie Kolb), Melody (Robert) McLain, Gail (Nick) Wright, Michael (Debra) Thomason, Stacy (Carl) Wice; twenty grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by; his parents; brother; David Clark, sister; Tracy Clark, brother; Gary Clark, and brother; Donald (Skip) Clark. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
