HAHN, Loreta M. – of Clio, age 89, died on Friday, February 4, 2022, at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor John Flanders officiating. Burial to follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2PM until 7PM, and on Wednesday from 12PM until the time of service at 1PM. An Eastern Star Memorial will be held at 6PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Loreta was born February 9, 1932, in Flint, Michigan to the late Mayland and Leona (Litt) Snover. She graduated from Millington High School in 1950. Loreta married Dallas Hahn on November 22, 1958. They enjoyed 48 wonderful years together before he preceded her in death on April 29, 2006. She was a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star – Vienna Chapter #283. Loreta enjoyed crocheting, listening to country music, and baking. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are: Sons: Robert (Julie) McGinnis, Jr., Mayland “Tim” (Patty) McGinnis, and Cecil (Jennifer) Hahn; Grandchildren: Scott (Lisa) McGinnis, Jennifer (Del) Chase, Sabrina (Daniel) Scott, and Parker Hahn; Several great grandchildren; Brother, Bill (Nancy) Snover; Several loving nieces, nephews, and other family members. Loreta was also preceded in death by: Granddaughter, Sara Coulter; Sister, Irene; Brothers: John, and Virgil.
