Psalms, Ms. Felicia age-52 passed away Tuesday July 15, 2014 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11am Tuesday July 22,2014 from the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church 1083 E. Stewart Ave. Rev. Daniel Smith officiating, Rev. Lewis Randolph Host Pastor. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10am for visitation. Ms. Psalms now repose in the Chapel of the Martin J. Banks Funeral Home and may be viewed. Felicia Jean Psalms was born July 4, 1962 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Tommie L. Psalms and Loisstein (Mason) Boxley. Felicia accepted Christ at a very early age and was a member of Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church. She attended the Elmer Knopf Learning Center of Flint, Michigan for 20 years and worked at Genesee Mental Health of Flint, Michigan for approximately 20 years. She enjoyed talking about Jesus, singing, dancing, listening to music, writing, coloring, and cutting out magazine pictures to complete her portfolio and especially watching movies.
Felicia leaves to cherish father, Tommie L. Psalms; mother, Loisstein (Mason) Boxley both of Flint, Michigan; 6 brothers, William, Antonio, David, Shantone and Ahmad (Kettisha) Boxley all of Flint, Michigan; Mark Boxley of Atlanta, Georgia. 4 sisters, Yvonne Morrow, Josephine (Walter) Horton; Ophelia (Kenny) Stradwick and Michelle (Earnest) Tucker, all of Flint, Michigan and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, including Edrinne Coleman, Cynthia McCaster and Martin Banks of Martin J. Banks Funeral Home.
Felicia was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Melvia McKinney and Catherine Boxley; grandparents, Matthew and Elnora Psalms and Rev. Cright, Sr. and Josephine Mason.
