LEWIS, Deborah Lee (English) – of Flint, MI, age 73, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024. A Graveside Service will be held 1 PM Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Meadowview Memorial Gardens, Davison, MI; Pastor Jon Gildner officiating. A Celebration of Deborah’s Life will be held 11 AM-3 PM Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Flint Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 West Bristol Road, Flint, MI 48507. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Flint Central Church of the Nazarene, in Deborah’s memory.

Deborah was born in Flint, MI on September 2, 1950, daughter of the late Orville “Lee” and Doris (Woodhull) Fenton. Deborah was a dedicated caregiver with a passion for both human and animal well-being. Her love for animals knew no bounds, and she found immense joy in caring for them. Whether it was tending to the needs of her furry friends or taking long walks in nature, Deborah's gentle spirit resonated with the beauty of life. For the majority of her life, Deborah served as a nurse at Hurley Medical Center, where she tirelessly dedicated herself to the well-being of others. Her unwavering commitment to providing compassionate care left a lasting impact on both patients and colleagues alike. Later in her career, she transitioned into the role of a Medical Biller at Hurley Medical Center, showcasing her versatility and adaptability. Outside of her professional life, Deborah cherished the moments spent with friends, finding solace in their companionship and creating memories that will be forever treasured. Her warm smile, kind heart, and genuine nature endeared her to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Deborah's legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched and the compassion she shared with the world. As we remember her, let us celebrate a life well-lived and honor the indelible mark she left on our hearts. May Deborah rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love and serenity she so freely gave to others.

Deborah is survived by 2 children, Christina Drenth and Kevin (Leasha) Lewis; 4 grandchildren, Danielle (Nick) Woodward, Samantha Woodward, Amanda Andrew and Brianna Lewis; 5 great-grandchildren, Aaliyah, Hayden, Jayden, Jaxson and Genevieve; brother, Robert (Sue) Fenton; 2 step-sisters, Pat (Robert) Fenton and Carol (LeRoy) Gerow; many other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville “Lee” and Doris Fenton and her infant sister, Diana.
