Carolyn Nieman, age 76, of Flushing, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.
Carolyn was born on June 7, 1948 in Gideon, Missouri to the late Jack and Zula (Horn) Wallace. Carolyn loved spending her free time with her grandchildren. Each winter, she would go to Florida where she enjoyed the warm weather while catching up with her friends. Carolyn enjoyed many different hobbies such as reading and shopping. She liked social interactions with all of her family and friends. In addition, she loved traveling with her late husband, Don. Carolyn retired from Security Federal Credit Union after many dedicated years of service. After retirement, she and her husband opened a Welcome Home Vets business with veteran apparel. Over the years, they did some work for veterans. Carolyn was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Carolyn leaves to cherish her memory her sons Dave (Andrea) Cheadle and Michael (Jessica) Cheadle; daughter Jennifer Nieman; grandchildren Ethan Cheadle, Andrew Cheadle, Tyler Cheadle, Kelsey-Kay Mark, Alex Mark, and Aiden Nieman; and great-grandchildren Carter, Abby, and Rosie.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother.
A funeral visitation for Carolyn will be held Monday, February 3, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W. Pierson Road, Flushing, Michigan 48433. A burial will occur Monday, February 3, 2025 at Sunset Hills Cemetery, 4413 Flushing Rd., Flint, Michigan. |
