HOLDER, DIANE L. - Of Swartz Creek, age 70, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at McLaren Flint Hospital.
A Funeral Service will be held at 4:00pm on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm on Thursday until the time of service.
Diane was born in Flint, Michigan on June 16, 1953 the daughter of the late Norris and Elameta (Simpson) Pritch. She married Paul “Tim” Holder on June 20th and they celebrated 37 years together. Diane was the owner and operator of Diane’s Barber Styling in Flushing for over 30 years. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed spending time with family and spoiling her grandchildren. She also loved going up north and being out on the lake.
She is survived by her husband, Tim Holder;
children, Cory Patrick, Kendra (Matt) Schmitendorf and Tina (Phil) Wallis;
grandchildren, Natalee Gifford, Samantha (Ryan) McCarthy, Jacob Jourdin and Phillip Wallis;
4 great-grandchildren;
siblings, Robert, Gary and Cindy;
and father-in-law, Paul Holder.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Norris and Elameta Pritch; mother-in-law, Helen Holder and grandson, Tyler.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Diane’s memory are suggested to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
