W. Darlene Fann, born on May 3, 1933, in Kingsport, TN passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones, to her eternal home on February 18, 2025 in Flint, Michigan.
Darlene, as she was affectionately known, shared many talents and gifts with those who loved her. Her journey of 91 years on this earth was one marked by resilience, hard work and dedication to others.
Darlene is survived by her brother, Donald Jobe. Her Beloved Children, Diane (Chick) Watkins, Debra (John) Spohn, Stephen (Barbara Bayne) Hudson.
Grandchildren, Amy Watkins, Todd Watkins, Jeremy (Kristi) Spohn, Nicole (Jake) Vaughan and Shane (Amanda) Pearson; special granddaughters, Summer and Katelynn Pearson.
Darlene also leaves behind many great grandchildren and other extended family members.
Those loved ones who preceded her in death include her parents Floyd and Viola Jobe. Husband Charles "Chuck" Fann. Children Vicky Harwood and Jeffrey Hudson. Grandchildren Amanda Hudson and Brandon Hudson.
Darlene moved to Michigan in 1955. She raised her family and was a dedicated employee with General Motors, where she retired after 30 years of service. Those who knew Darlene will remember her for her many gifts that included sewing, crocheting, wonderful cooking and always looking after others in her neighborhood.
A memorial service to honor the life of W. Darlene Fann will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Evergreen Chapel located at Evergreen Cemetery at 3415 E Hill Road, Grand Blanc, MI. The family will receive loved ones and friends at this time to share in the celebration and legacy of Darlene.
