EDWARDS-DOTSON, Linda Diane - Age 62, of Swartz Creek, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 following a long battle with MS. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Scott Miller will officiate with cremation following. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 14. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may direct memorial contributions to Faith Alive Kingdom Builders Summer Camp for Kids, 2945 Hansen Rd. West Branch, MI 48661.
Linda was born on September 24, 1961 in Flint, the daughter of Leroy and Alfreda (Floyd) Edwards. She graduated from Swartz Creek High School. Linda worked for Security Credit Union as a loan officer for many years. She was united in marriage on August 8, 2012 at Higgins Lake. Linda was an avid Detroit Tigers fan, cheering on from the radio. She loved spending time with her husband, high school friends of over 50 years and her cookie exchange buddies. Linda was always a positive and optimistic woman, and she will be truly missed by many.
She is survived by her loving husband, John Dotson; son, Marcos Sermeno; daughter, Trisha Geiger; brother, Chris Edwards; and nieces, Erica Edwards, Kayla Edwards and Erin Edwards. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Alfreda Edwards, and brother, David Edwards. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com |
