CLARK, Daniel "Jake" E.- age 61 of New Lothrop, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021. A Celebration of Life will take place 1-5PM Friday, July 9, 2021 at Maple Grove Twp. Hall, 17010 Lincoln Rd., New Lothrop. Those desiring may make contributions to Michigan Cancer Society in Jake's honor. Jake was born April 29, 1960 in Saginaw, the son of Bryce W. Clark and Carol A. (Yankee) Clark. He was a 1978 graduate from Montrose High School. Jake married Lynne M. Gross April 11, 1980 at St. Michaels in Maple Grove. Jake worked in Production at General Motors for 15 years and went on to work for Montrose Community Schools, where he retired in 2018 from the maintenance department after 26 years of service. He was involved with the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Flint Steelheaders, and he was a Sebewaing Sportsman.
Jake is survived by his wife Lynne; sons, Jacob (DeAnn) Clark and Adam (Tasha) Clark; granddaughter, Allie Clark; grandsons, Bryson Clark, Kade Clark, and Kaysen Clark; brother, Don (Lisa) Clark; sisters, Penny (Jim) Thompson and Sue Moore; in-laws, Troy (Michelle) Gross, Lisa (Kris) Johnson, Carmen (Mark) Gosko, Wally (Paula) Gross, Corey (Carla) Gross, and J.W. Glover; step-siblings, Stacie (Gera) Kittman and William (Cassidy) Lindeman; father-in-law, Gerald (Sandra) Gross; mother-in-law, Kay Glover; special sister, Jenny Beers; and many nieces and nephews.Jake is preceded in death by his parents, Bryce and Carol Clark; father-in-law, James Glover; and brother-in-law, Dennis Moore.
