Willis “Richard” Wilcox, 87, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2022 in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Richard was born on March 19, 1935 in Flushing, MI and graduated from Grand Blanc High School in 1954. While a student there, he met the love of his life, Ramona Westfall. They were married shortly after graduation. Richard was devoted to Ramona, who survives him in South Carolina. She will miss him dearly. Richard worked his whole career as a tool and die maker for Fisher Body/General Motors. Richard and Ramona were blessed with two sons: David, who preceded him in death (1980), and Wayne (Dorothy), who survives him. He is also survived by his brother Ron (Rosemary) Wilcox, sister Sandy (Louis, deceased) Anderson, brother-in-law Charles (Bonnie, deceased) Stone, as well as two grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Memorial Contributions can be made to: Roper Hospice Cottage (Inpatient Care), 676 Wando Park Blvd., Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. |
