Hope, Sandra - Age 69, of Sanford, formerly of Swartz Creek, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, September 6, 2022. Visitation will be held 11AM-8PM Saturday, September 10; and 11AM-1PM Sunday, September 11 at Sharp Funeral Home, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. A funeral service will be held at the same location Sunday, September 11 at 1PM. A private dinner will follow. A private burial will take place at a later date. Sandy was born April 18, 1953 in Flint, Mi. to Robert and Gloria Barrows. She lived a life full of laughter and jokes. Her friends and family will always remember her contagious laugh. Sandy enjoyed card nights, music, and dancing. She had a strong will and a big heart. Sandy loved her family, enjoyed time with her friends, and was so proud to be a grandma. She was so deeply loved by so many. Sandy is survived by her children, Wayne Duke Hope (Briana Fidelino), Darcy Hope, Jessica (Stacy) Hoenighausen-Hope, Russell (Jordan) Hope; grandchildren, Kylo, Mavryk, and baby Hope on the way; mother, Gloria Barrows; mother-in-law, Wonda Hope; sister Barb (Don) Williams; brother, John (Angie) Barrows; sister-in-law, Sue (Darrell) Givens; brother-in-law, Mark (Julie) Hope; several beloved nieces and nephews; many close friends including Dave Haag, Debbie Kowalczyk, Loraine Serow, Linda Baldaray (Murray). She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Wayne Hope II; father, Robert Barrows; father-in-law, Wayne Hope; sister-in-law, Kay Hope; nephew, Kyle Givens; niece, Jennifer Givens.
