MINTO, Joanne M. - of Davison, age 88, passed away in the comfort of her home on February 13, 2023. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 706 W. Flint Street, Davison; Pastor Todd Frusti officiating. Interment will take place following the service at Davison Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 12-3 PM and 5-7 PM Monday, February 20, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. There will be visitation from 10 -11 AM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
Joanne was born in Flint, MI on June 23, 1934, daughter of the late Earl and Yvonne (Hollingsworth) Faust. She married the love of her life, Harvey Minto on November 28, 1959 in Davison, MI and he preceded her in death in 1994. Her kitty, Punkin, who served as her loyal companion for over 10 years also preceded her in death in 2003. Joanne lived for her Lord, her family, and her friends. She had a sharp wit, was quick with a joke and was much smarter than she gave herself credit for. Joanne lived in her dream home, loved tending to her yard, and could often be found outside tooling around on her tractor. As a seasoned shopper, she loved adding to her jewelry and purse collection and was widely known as a style legend!
Joanne is survived by her children, Jeffery (Vivian) Minto, Scott Minto, Leanne (Paul) Andrepont, and Kristen (Jason King) Raecke-Minto; grandchildren, Travis (Anna) Minto, Brandon Minto, Jackson Raecke and Bella Raecke; great-grandchildren, Vincent Minto and Winston Minto; best friend since childhood, Gianeen Davis; many other loving family members and friends.
