Meir, Denise Adele of Flint, age 71, died Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Adira Nursing Home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. October 25, 2024, at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Rev. Dean Dumbrille will officiate. Cremation will follow the funeral service. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. Friday at the church until the time of the service at 11 a.m. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Denise was born on June 13, 1953, the daughter of Richard and Virginia (Gilbert) Dunning. She married David Meir in May of 2002. She was a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Denise came from a musical family and music was a large part of her life. She was also a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Choir. Denise enjoyed arts and crafts and loved animals.
She is survived by her husband, David; son, Matthew and wife Samantha Hoffman; five grandsons, Cody, John, Dakota, Daniel, Josh; one great-grandson, Levi; and brother, Doug Dunning. Denise was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Francis Bubin; and brother, Rick Dunning. |
