KETCHUM, Wilbur D. - Age 91, of Flint Township, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek.
Wilbur was born on May 13, 1929 in Lainsburg, Michigan, the son of Howard and Cecile (Bentley) Ketchum. He worked for GM as a Truck repair for many years before his retirement in 1977. He and Nellie Frances were united in marriage on June 1, 1956 in Swartz Creek. Wilbur proudly served in the United States Navy. He was a member of the VFW Chevrolet Post 3087. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling.
He is survived by 3 children, Debra (Bob) Griffus, Brad (Angela) Ketchum and Barry Ketchum; 8 grandchildren, Jason (Mindy) Griffus, Holly Rutherford, Katie (Scott) Shamel, Nicole Ketchum, Breanna (Alex) Poppen, Allyson Ketchum, Michael Ketchum and Jack Ketchum; 11 great-grandchildren, Joe, Heidi, Addeson, Sophia, Mya, Kiley, Reagan, Landon, Kali, Ryan and Marcy; sister, Diane (Jack) Kosloski; and many nieces and nephews.
