MARSH, Marjorie Ann (Carlson) – of Grand Blanc, MI, age 92, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2023. A Private Burial will be held in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eastside Senior Center.
Marjorie was born in Flint, MI on April 28, 1931, daughter of the late Brother Gustaf and Sophia (Fletcher) Carlson. She married Donald “Don” Marsh on May 6, 1950 and he preceded her in death on March 9, 2019. Marjorie enjoyed crafts, dancing, and gardening in her flower beds. She was a scrabble champion and took great pleasure in beating her kids in that game. Marjorie taught dance at the Eastside Senior Center for many years. She loved her property and her watching her game shows.
Marjorie is survived by her 5 children, Kathy Turner, David (Fraya) Marsh, Karen (Greg) Ernest, Bethany (Richard) Lovik and Bonnie (Steve) Hewer; 5 grandchildren, Jason (Heather) Marsh, Scott Ernest, Ryan (Carrie) Lovik, Courtnea (Jarod) Carlton and Chelsea (Russell) Peterson; 12 great-grandchildren, Tristan, Tommy, Dalton, Alyssa, Tyler, Kaylee, Jaxson, Mason, Reid, Maxwell, Miles and Indy; 1 great-great granddaughter, Lola; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Brother Gustaf and Sophia Carlson; husband, Donald “Don” Marsh; grandson, Kenney Turner and granddaughter, Angela Marsh.
