Cash, Robert Lee- Age 84, of Flint died July 13, 2021. Memorial services will be held 1PM Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation 12PM until 3PM Saturday. Robert was born August 21, 1936 in Pontiac, Michigan, the son of Robert Metford and Ida May (Cork) Cash. Robert married Ione B. Cook on December 24, 1955 in Standish. He worked at General Motors for 30 years. He loved woodworking and wood crafting. Robert was an avid fisherman and he enjoyed golfing, camping, and snowmobiling. He loved music, especially country/western, and loved to entertain, sing and play the guitar.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ione; son, Russell (Pam) Cash; daughter, Rebecca (Ken) Cover; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce (Jim) Fisher; his loyal dog, Gizmo.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Robert Metford Cash; and infant daughter, Brenda Kay Cash.
